Basically the full Open Water Course is approximately 30 hours and split into three parts: 1) Theory 2) Pool 3) Actual dives.
 
We typically run the course in three-four days over two consecutive weekends, completing the Theory and Confined Water dives on Saturday and the Open Water dives on Sundays. Weekday courses are also available on request.

Course options

So that you can prepare for the course, we will send your eLearning code in advance so that have access to the online part of the course (this must be completed before your in-water training).

The pre-requisites for this cousre are that you are 10 years or above, can swim 200 metres non-stop, float for 10 minutes and are medical fit to dive.

If you do have any medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes etc. you would need to see a doctor prior to starting the course. You can download the medical form from the Courses menu on our website.
